Leanne Daquino is a Melbourne-based mixed media artist who specializes in abstract floral art using Gelli plate printing and collage techniques. With over 25 years of experience in education, including roles as a teacher and Deputy Principal, Leanne rediscovered her passion for art later in life and is now dedicated to her craft full-time. Her work is inspired by the emotional resonance of flowers and the joy they evoke, creating pieces that blend vibrant colors, texture, and layers to reflect the natural beauty of her surroundings.
Leanne's artwork has been featured in galleries across Australia and she also runs her own successful art business, Leanne Daquino Art. She regularly shares her techniques through online courses, workshops, and art retreats, offering students the opportunity to learn Gelli plate printing, color theory, and collage in an engaging and supportive environment. Leanne is thrilled to bring her expertise to Artable, where she will be teaching immersive two-day workshops that inspire creativity and connection.
